Congratulations to the Grady MS Combined Concert Band for their excellent performance at the HISD Waltrip Concert Band Festival last Friday, March 30, 2012. The band is comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students from four different class periods (A1, A7, B2, & B4), thus making it more challenging to prepare as a complete ensemble. Students in Grady's Combined Concert Band have a wide range of experience ranging from students that just started playing a band instrument at the beginning of the school year to the more experienced students who have been playing their instrument since 4th grade. But despite the inherent challenges, Grady's musicians gave one of their best performances to date. They earned one Division 1 Rating and two Division 2 Ratings from the three judges listening to their stage performance! This is a wonderful accomplishment for our Grady Gator musicians!
Video of the performance can be viewed on the Grady Band Website - www.gradyband.org

Congratulations again to all of the students in the Grady Middle School Combined Concert Band for their performance at the Waltrip Concert Band Festival!
